Art of Coloring Classes | VanillaArts.com

Intermediate - advanced Classes

Art based lessons for experienced colorers looking to take their skills to the next level.

NOTE: Because I want to make sure that you will not be overwhelmed by the class pace, Copic Club is a prerequisite to enrolling in Art of Coloring.

This class will not cover basic techniques such as flicking, feathering, and blending. You will need to have these skills well mastered to keep up with the pace of instruction.

Art of Coloring Classes are exclusive to Remember When Scrapbooking in Macomb, Michigan

July:

an intermediate level approach to coloring white objects with artistry

Wednesday, July 19 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm

Thursday, July 20 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Image: "Blue Swan" by Vanilla Arts Co.

Lesson: Learn how to add artistic color to white objects while still retaining the feeling of white

Medium: Copic Marker & artist grade colored pencil (Prismacolor or Luminance)

Quick- what color is this swan?

Don't be tempted to say white. The only bit of real white on this image is the highlight in his eye. Everything else ranges from blue to green to yellow and pink. Even the paper was beige.

So why does the swan look white?

Join us to learn the secrets to coloring white objects without actually using white. This class builds upon the beginner level "Snowman Stack" lesson from January, taking similar colors and helping you apply them in a more controlled fashion.
