Intermediate - advanced Classes
Art based lessons for experienced colorers looking to take their skills to the next level.
NOTE: Because I want to make sure that you will not be overwhelmed by the class pace, Copic Club is a prerequisite to enrolling in Art of Coloring.
This class will not cover basic techniques such as flicking, feathering, and blending. You will need to have these skills well mastered to keep up with the pace of instruction.
Art of Coloring Classes are exclusive to Remember When Scrapbooking in Macomb, Michigan

Image: "Ink & Hydrangea" by Vanilla Arts Co.
Lesson: Color Temperature Shifting, Sgraffito, Color Casting, and Glassware
Medium: Copic Marker & artist grade colored pencil (Prismacolor or Luminance)
Most colorers are aware that colors are often referred to as warm or cool but never move beyond this vague awareness. Controlling the temperature of your colors is actually a vital skill that's essential to developing greater depth and realism in your projects. Learn how to shift your colors and what effect that has on your object.
This project will take two class sessions to complete.
March classes will cover the pen and ink portion of the image, building upon last October's "Toxic Tonic" lesson on glassware.
May classes will cover the hydrangea and it's leaves. This will be the most advanced floral we've tackled yet but once you hear the secret, you'll be off and running with ease!
