Are you ready for a VERY special Spotlight treat?
This week, Elena will be sharing tips and tricks for the Copic Flick technique as well as the Vanilla Arts Underpainting method as she colors a Transformation Butterfly. Elena’s video demonstration uses Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.
But…the butterfly isn’t the only thing experiencing transformation!
21-months ago, Elena was a total non-crafter, wondering if she had the potential to be creative.
It seemed highly unlikely— after all, she didn’t even own a glue gun, let alone a single Copic marker.
Copic Marker? What on earth is that?
Scrolling through Pinterest searching for inspiration, Elena stumbled across Vanilla Arts Co.
Giggling in disbelief, she scoured the class projects. C’mon, the turquoise Chucks sneakers must be a photograph.
Really, who colors this way???
Amy Shulke must be delusional, right?
Nobody could teach a totally unskilled, unartistic person to color like that!
Well, that was less than two years ago. And what happened to that self-proclaimed creative klutz?
Elena is now teaching others to color with depth, dimension, and amazing realism.
Elena’s journey started with the 12-week Marker Painting Foundations course. Then she moved on to the 12 week Colored Pencil Plus course and the Vanilla Livestream lessons for intermediate to advanced students. And you can experience transformation for yourself!
