September Lesson: Coloring Images with Tiny Details
Be honest, when was the last time you colored with your chisel nib?
You're not alone. Most Copic colorers never uncap that end of the marker. If they do, they think of the chisel as "the refill side".
Join Amy for a fun lesson about old school marker coloring. Yes, once upon a time, markers were all chisel nibbed. Bullet nibs and brush nibs are fancy modern inventions!
Learn how to control your chisel nib marks and discover what chisel nibs do best- allow your inner artistic voice to shine!

To View the Livestream:
On the day of the broadcast, about 5 minutes before broadcast time, go to Patreon.com/VanillaArtsCo and log in to your account.
Look in the "Posts" section for an entry from Amy titled "Livestream: Expressive Sunflowers". It contains a link to watch via a new window at Crowdcast.
The live-chat discussion board at Crowdcast is only active during the original broadcast and it may not be available on mobile or tablet formats.
I recommend watching the livestream first rather than trying to color along with the live version because you can't pause the live version. Sit back and enjoy the broadcast first. Color later.
To view the recording:
Go to Patreon.com/VanillaArtsCo and log in to your account.
On the left sidebar you will see "Featured Tags". Click "Livestream" to pull up lesson posts. Find parts 1 and 2 of your target lesson and watch using either the Crowdcast link or use the YouTube link. The YouTube version sometimes streams smoother and also has a closed captioning option.
Watch at your convenience, as many times as you'd like.
Remember, the discussion board is no longer active for recordings. Amy does not receive message notifications, so your message is unlikely to be read. Want to comment or ask a question? Start a post on the Patreon "Community" discussion board here.
Digi Stamp Printing Instructions:
The stamp not included in the class pack below. Must be purchased from using the 20% discount listed above.
Instructions for opening and sizing your stamp are linked below.
PAPER: This project uses X-Press It Blending Card for maximum blend-ability on the daffodils.
SIZE: Stamp should be sized so that the diameter of the sunflower heads each measures 3" diameter
This is not a good project to print smaller! It has been sized to work with your Copic Chisel Nib. To print a smaller digital stamp would make it hard to color neatly, staying inside the lines.
I print at about 30% gray so that the stamp lines disappear as I color. Gray levels vary by printer (and paper brand); please test on scrap paper first!
NOTE: I print the video demonstration copy darker than the version you see in the project sample photos. I'm always balancing my needs- dark enough to see on camera versus light enough to disappear under the markers.
All printables open in a new window tab. If you have a blocker set, this may hamper your ability to open these printables.
Note: Patreon fee does not include Power Poppy digital stamp. See above for link to purchase page and 20% discount code.
