two fun workshops:

Learn to color with Copics using easy Vanilla Arts techniques. Beginner level sessions running all day at the Papercrafting Roadshow, Sept 23, 2017. For more info: VanillaArts.com

Intro to Copic- $30

Join Amy for a beginner level introduction to Copic Markers using her original "Love Nest" digital stamp. No drawing skills or previous experience required.

A perfect class for those with little to no marker experience or those who are new to Amy's art-based techniques.

Use of class supply kit included! No marker purchase required.

Class covers:

  • basic grip technique for accuracy
  • simple blending
  • flicking and overflicking
  • how to add details with precision tools (technical pens and colored pencils)

Three sessions at the Papercrafting Roadshow. Each class runs approximately 40 minutes.

Copic Challenge- $30

Join Amy for a challenge level class featuring her original "All a' Flutter" digital stamp. No drawing skills necessary.

Basic blending skills required. Beginning colorers will find taking the "Love Nest" session helpful (you can sign up for both!)

Use of class supply kit included! No marker purchase required.

Class covers:

  • Push & Pull technique
  • underpainting
  • three color blending
  • flicking and overflicking
  • pointillism
  • basic pencil technique & color kissing

Two sessions at the Papercrafting Roadshow. Each class runs approximately 45 minutes.

  • 1:30 pm

Seats are limited to 14 per session. RSVP by purchasing to insure your seat. Remaining spaces will be available for purchase at the show but space can not be guaranteed.

Class fee includes:

  • pre-printed coloring images on X-Press It blending card
  • printed, full color step by step guide
  • printed learning aids
  • fun instructional session
  • list of resources
  • coupons for online courses at MarkerPainting.com
  • use of class Copic kit- includes markers, pens, colored pencils (or you may bring your own supplies)

 

Guidelines:

  • Class fee does not include show entrance fee. Pay for entrance tickets here, follow the Papercrafting Roadshow's Facebook page for ticket giveaways, or purchase with cash at the door.
  • Please arrive at least 20 minutes early and check in at the Vanilla Arts Company booth. Please remain quiet if a class is still in session.
  • Students will be seated two to every six foot table. Please respect your neighbor's space.
  • Images contain small items and fine detail. Bring eye-glasses or magnification if you usually require it for papercrafting.
  • Battery powered personal work-lights are welcome.
  • Drinks in spill-proof containers only. No food or snack items.
  • Copic kits are available for your use. Some basic items are not included in the kit. Please print and read the class supply list for more information. Kits are for use in class only, purchase is not included in class fee. After 3:30 pm, used kits will be sold at a discounted price.
  • If you prefer to bring your own supplies- please do not make substitutions and bring only the supplies listed.
  • IMPORTANT: If arriving more than 15 minutes late, check in with the staff in the Vanilla Arts Co Booth. They will determine if it is too late for you to join the session based upon where the class is in-progress. Sorry, no refunds will be given.
