Course Terms of Service
Thank you for enrolling in The Blend, an online art education course by Amy Shulke of Vanilla Arts.
Please read these terms carefully before purchasing. They explain what your enrollment includes, how long you may access the course, and the conditions governing your participation.
By purchasing The Blend, you agree to the following terms.
1. Course Enrollment
The Blend is a 12-week online educational program delivered through Mighty Networks.
Your purchase includes access to the course curriculum, instructional videos, downloadable materials, and instructor feedback as described below.
Course access begins on the date of purchase.
Enrollment is personal to the purchasing student and may not be transferred or shared with another person.
2. Course Access
Your purchase grants you access to The Blend for as long as the course continues to exist and remains available to enrolled students.
This access includes the ability to revisit instructional videos and course materials after your 12-week instructional program has concluded.
Course access is not guaranteed for your lifetime or for any specific number of years.
Vanilla Arts reserves the right to retire or discontinue The Blend, remove the course from its learning platform, or close its online school.
These actions may result in the permanent loss of access to course content.
The conditions governing course retirement and school closure are described in Section 4.
3. Instructor Feedback and Student Support
Your enrollment includes instructor feedback through The Blend Forum during your assigned cohort's active instructional period.
The instructional period lasts up to 16 weeks from your date of purchase.
During this period, you may submit your work and questions through the designated course forum in accordance with the course's participation guidelines.
Instructor feedback and individualized educational support end when your cohort's active instructional period concludes.
After this period, you may continue accessing the instructional curriculum for as long as The Blend remains available to enrolled students.
Continued access to the curriculum does not include ongoing instructor feedback, individual critiques, or additional instructional services.
4. Course Retirement and School Closure
Vanilla Arts reserves the right to retire or permanently discontinue The Blend.
When The Blend is retired, enrollment closes to new students. Previously enrolled students retain access to the existing course curriculum, but no new lessons, curriculum updates, or instructor services are provided.
Retirement does not automatically terminate access for existing students.
Vanilla Arts reserves the right to permanently discontinue The Blend or close its online school. Either action may result in the termination of student access, subject to applicable law.
Retirement and continued access do not constitute a promise to maintain the course or the online school indefinitely.
5. Learning Platform and Technical Availability
The Blend is hosted and delivered through Mighty Networks, an independent third-party learning platform.
Vanilla Arts does not own or operate Mighty Networks and cannot guarantee its continued operation, technical performance, or long-term availability.
Temporary interruptions, technical difficulties, platform policy changes, or permanent discontinuation of Mighty Networks may affect your ability to access The Blend.
If Mighty Networks permanently discontinues its services, removes the course, or otherwise becomes unavailable, Vanilla Arts does not guarantee that The Blend will be transferred to another platform or that uninterrupted access will be maintained.
Any obligations arising from an interruption or permanent loss of access will be addressed in accordance with the terms of your purchase and applicable law.
6. Student Accounts and Voluntary Account Deletion
Access to The Blend requires an individual Mighty Networks account.
You are responsible for maintaining your account and the login credentials necessary to access your course.
Leaving the course community, deactivating your account, or requesting permanent account deletion may prevent you from accessing previously purchased course content.
Permanently deleting your Mighty Networks account may also result in the irreversible loss of your forum posts, submitted artwork, feedback history, and other information stored within the platform.
Vanilla Arts cannot guarantee the restoration of information deleted by Mighty Networks at your request.
If you wish to leave the course community but retain access to your purchased curriculum, please contact Vanilla Arts before deleting your account.
Voluntary account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund or extend your course access period.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of The Blend and the substantial amount of instructional content made available upon enrollment, refunds are limited.
Requests made within one hour of purchase
Students who contact Vanilla Arts within one hour of purchase may receive a full refund. This includes accidental or duplicate purchases.
Requests made within five days of purchase
Refund requests received within five calendar days of purchase will be reviewed individually.
For approved requests, the standard refund is the original purchase price minus $50.
Vanilla Arts may adjust the refund amount based on the individual circumstances of the request.
Requests made after five days
After five calendar days from the date of purchase, no discretionary refunds will be considered.
This policy does not exclude any refund or other remedy required by applicable law.

Approved refunds will be issued through the original payment method where available.
8. Changes to These Terms
Vanilla Arts may revise these Terms of Service as its educational programs and business operations evolve.
Updated terms will apply to future purchases from their stated effective date.
Changes to these terms do not automatically replace specific contractual commitments made to students at the time of an earlier purchase.

Copyright & Materials Terms of Use
The Blend includes original illustrations, instructional videos, written curriculum, printable exercises, and other educational materials created by Amy Shulke of Vanilla Arts.
Your enrollment grants you permission to use these materials for your personal education and artistic practice, subject to the following conditions.
1. Copyright and Ownership
All original illustrations, line art, instructional videos, written curriculum, photographs, and other original educational materials provided as part of The Blend remain the intellectual property of Amy Shulke and/or Vanilla Arts.
Purchasing The Blend does not transfer copyright or ownership of these materials to the student.
You receive a limited, personal, nontransferable license to use the course materials in accordance with these terms.
2. Personal Use and Printing
You may download and print the worksheets, practice exercises, and project illustrations provided with The Blend for your own personal artistic practice.
You may print multiple copies of an exercise or project for repeated practice.
You may also modify the provided illustrations for your personal artistic practice. This includes changing colors, altering details, adding or removing elements, and adapting the illustrations to explore different artistic techniques.
These permissions are limited to your personal use.
You may not reproduce or distribute the original or modified line art, worksheets, or other course materials for use by another person, whether for free or for payment.
3. Sharing Your Completed Artwork
You are welcome to share photographs of your completed coloring projects online, including on social media, personal websites, and within art communities.
When sharing artwork based on a Vanilla Arts illustration, please credit the original illustration to Amy Shulke of Vanilla Arts.
Only completed projects may be shared publicly.
Uncolored or partially colored project illustrations, unfinished exercises, and work-in-progress images may not be posted publicly.
You may share unfinished projects within The Blend's private student forum for the purpose of receiving instructor feedback and participating in course discussions.
Sharing a completed project does not grant others permission to reproduce or use the underlying illustration.
You may not distribute the original or modified line art, blank worksheets, or downloadable project files.
4. Prohibited Redistribution
Course materials are provided exclusively for the personal use of the enrolled student.
You may not:
Share, sell, trade, or give away downloadable course files, printable worksheets, original line art, or modified versions of the supplied line art.
Upload instructional videos, substantial portions of lessons, or curriculum documents to websites, social media, video platforms, or file-sharing services.
Record, reproduce, or redistribute instructional videos or live educational sessions.
Provide copies of course materials to friends, family members, students, or other individuals who have not purchased the course.
Include Vanilla Arts illustrations, worksheets, instructional videos, or written curriculum in your own educational products, classes, tutorials, or publications without written permission.
These restrictions apply whether the materials are shared commercially or without charge.
5. Commercial Use and Teaching
Your enrollment in The Blend does not include a license to reproduce or distribute Vanilla Arts illustrations or instructional materials for commercial purposes.
You may not use the supplied project illustrations, including modified versions, to create products for sale, such as printed artwork, greeting cards, digital downloads, or merchandise, without prior written permission.
Teachers and instructors may not reproduce or distribute The Blend's illustrations, printable exercises, instructional videos, or written curriculum for use in their own classes without authorization.
These restrictions do not prevent you from applying the artistic knowledge and techniques you learn in The Blend to your own original artwork or independent artistic instruction.
If you would like permission to use specific Vanilla Arts materials in a classroom, publication, or commercial project, please contact us to discuss your intended use.
6. Continued Personal Use After Course Closure
If The Blend is retired, permanently discontinued, or the Vanilla Arts online school closes, you may retain any course materials you legitimately downloaded during your enrollment.
You may continue using those downloaded materials for your personal education and artistic practice, including printing additional copies for your own use.
Your permission to retain and use these materials does not include permission to redistribute, resell, publish, or otherwise share the original or modified course materials.
All copyright and usage restrictions described in this agreement remain in effect after your access to the online course ends.
Continued personal use of previously downloaded materials does not guarantee continued access to instructional videos, the course forum, or other content hosted on the learning platform.
7. Requests for Additional Permissions
Additional usage permissions may be granted on an individual basis.
To request permission for any use not expressly authorized by these terms, please contact:
