I will run several sessions of The Blend in 2026.
After years of experimentation, I prefer to group beginners into small classes where students all work similar lessons at the same time. Trust me, I’ve tried letting students signup in dribs and drabs. The students who do the course with others— even if they’re complete strangers in the beginning— the groups always learn more and get better outcomes than the singletons.
Class spaces are limited because I want to spend time with each of you.
Plus, you’re paying for this class. I want you to get your money’s worth!
YOU MUST BE ON THE WAITLIST TO ENROLL IN THE BLEND
When the waitlist reaches a full class size and when my schedule is clear, I’ll contact the first batch of names on the list with a special link to enroll.
$365 USD - 12 weeks of easy to follow instruction + community support

I’m kicking off 2026 with an early January session of The Blend. After that, the next sessions depend entirely on the size of the wait list.
Keep in mind that The Blend is a 12 week course— so when I start a new session, I’m unlikely to start another until at least 12 weeks have elapsed.
But honestly, if 20 people sign up today, I’ll start a session tomorrow.
On the other hand, if the waitlist drags out a bit, I’ll run a smaller session to keep that handful of people from waiting too long.
I’m trying to group people together, not limit enrollment. With either a Blend or Point session always running, I don’t expect the wait to be unreasonably long.

Subscribe to the waitlist by submitting the form above. This places your name on a first come, first served notification list based upon the date/time you sign up.
When the waitlist gathers enough names to run a session of The Blend (and as my schedule allows), I will notify the top names on the waitlist using the email entered at sign-up. Obviously, you don’t want to use a fake “no-spam@xxx” type address!
When contacted, you’ll have 72 hours to accept a seat in the next session or you can decline. To accept, simply click the link in the email, taking you to a purchase page.
Your space in any session is NOT secured or guaranteed until you purchase The Blend and payment is complete.
Failure to complete the purchase or a declined/stopped payment will absolutely forfeit your space.
If we still have spaces after the first 72 hours, I’ll work my way down the list until all spaces are filled.
Names on the list who are not contacted will move to the top positions with priority for the next session.
IF YOU DECLINE YOUR INVITATION: You will be removed from the waitlist. To try again for a future session, please sign up to the waitlist again. Sorry, I can’t deal with the logistical nightmare to reserve your space on the waitlist. Don’t worry, your name will come up again soon!

This waitlist system is new but I don’t expect a flood of signups.
I teach a steady stream of beginners but Blend and Point courses have never been crowded.
To be honest, I don’t expect the waitlist to grow long because beginners are a small percentage of my student body. If this were an intermediate waitlist, we’d be talking significant wait times—whew!
My ideal class size is 10-12 students which allows for maximum interaction. But with this new system, I will vary class sizes based on time of year, the waitlist size, and my schedule.
Remember, my goal isn’t to make you wait. I’m actually trying to get more students through than my previous system with 6 month enrollment windows.

Nope. I’ve run 12 week beginner courses for 10 years now. It’s easier for both of us if you take The Blend as part of a group.
-
You are absolutely NOT obligated to enroll when your name is called.
In fact, I highly recommend waiting until your schedule and budget allow.
If you don’t take a space when offered, your name will be removed from the list. Simply re-signup using the form above to try for another session.
Sorry, but I’m a one woman operation and can’t keep track of who declined what, when, or why. I’m sure you have a good reason but I can’t weigh your reason against someone else’s.
The fairest thing to do is run a clean list.
It’s not a big deal. Just sign up again and eventually your schedule with click with mine.
-
Nope. All we’re doing is adding your name to the waitlist. When your name comes up, I’ll send you a link to purchase.
-
No. Keeping a waitlist is enough of a challenge. Let’s not make this harder by involving money.
-
Sure. Email me at info@vanillaarts.com and ask to be removed from The Blend’s waitlist.
Please be sure to include your name and mention “Blend” so I don’t have to guess who you are.
