Copic Cleaning Supplies!

Recommended products that Amy uses in her own studio:

  1. Rubbing Alcohol Swabs - For quick cap and marker body cleanups; much cheaper than using #0 solution! Brand is not important.

  2. Microfiber Towels - Prewash for best absorption. Perfect to catch ink spills and even if they stain, they can be laundered and still perform perfectly. Also used with all watermedia projects for both dabbing projects and cleaning up overspill.

  3. Weighmax Pocket Scale - Refill your Copics by weight for better blending. The drip method is incredibly inaccurate and leads to consistently underfilled markers. Read more about filling process and correct weights here.

  4. Copic Various Ink Refills (now called ā€œCopic Refillsā€ - Refills come in all 358 colors. Packaging change Spring 2020 and size reduced to 12.5 ml from 25ml.

  5. 99% Rubbing Alcohol - Create your own alcohol prep pads, soak Copic caps and give the marker bodies a general cleaning. DO NOT SOAK NIBS IN RUBBING ALCOHOL!

  6. Copic Tweezers - Remove the Copic chisel nib for easy refilling. Not essential (Amy uses her fingers) but tweezers keep your fingers from staining odd colors!
