Vanilla Beans: The Start of Something New

Regular readers and students know that less than a month ago, my world kinda exploded.

For years, I’ve been offering classes, courses, and memberships at my Vanilla-Workshops site. The site was hosted on a platform called Teachable.

I can honestly say, I wouldn’t be in business today if it weren’t for Teachable. I was an early adopter and it feels like I’ve been there forever. The platform always had a few quirks but it was nothing I couldn’t live with… until they tripled the price.

Yes, you read that correct.

They tripled the price. Who does that???

Unfairness aside, that’s why I’ve been scrambling for the last few weeks, desperately trying to create a class replacement system…

I’ve been racing to beat the deadline, before my rates skyrocket.

It’s been a ton of hard work and I’m still not done, but I beat the buzzer.

So gentle reader, allow me some Beans space this week to talk about what I’ve built.

THE START OF SOMETHING NEW

A new website means doing things in a new way.

I’m moving from selling individual workshops to a school system.
